Puppy Agreement

Buyer requirements:

Purchaser(s) agrees to maintain dog in a humane environment-including but not limited to:

  • Proper medical care
  • Not keeping the dog on a chain or “tie out” or subjected to excessive confinement.
  • Agrees to provide puppy/dog with daily food and water.
  • Agrees to not Spay/Neuter dog before the dog’s first birthday.

**Failure to do so gives the Breeder full rights to take the dog/puppy back.**

This puppy is guaranteed to be in good health. Puppy has followed a strict dewormer schedule. 2,4,8 weeks- Pyrantel. 6 weeks- 3 rounds of Safeguard. Puppy is provided with a six week checkup, given by a veterinarian and first round of vaccinations. Puppy will need his/hers next round of vaccinations at 9 weeks old.

The seller does not warrant this puppy of being free of common problems; such as, diarrhea (normally caused by going to a new home or change in diet), separation anxiety, coccidia and parasites. All puppies are born with parasites and the stress of going to a new home can reactivate dormant parasites/ infections and viruses. Please keep in mind that your puppy has only had their first round of shots, therefore they are still susceptible to diseases such as parvovirus. Your vet will create a schedule for your puppy to ensure they are fully protected against this disease. During this time, your puppy’s immune system is very vulnerable. It is your job as the pet owner to take extra precautions on where you allow your puppy until they complete all of their vaccinations (Typically 14-16 weeks old).

We will not reimburse the buyer(s) of any vet bills. Providing your puppy medical care is a large part of pet ownership.

***If for any reason the buyer(s) cannot continue to provide for the puppy, thinks the puppy is not a good fit, or does not want the puppy, then the buyer MUST reach out to the seller. We will gladly take the puppy back. Buyer cannot sell the puppy/dog. If the buyer does not maintain proper medical care, or leaves the puppy/dog in horrible conditions, then the seller has full rights to take the puppy/dog back. ***
